When you put effort into creating videos, seeing your audience grow is incredibly rewarding. As your numbers tick upward, you naturally start wondering, how to see who subscribed to my youtube channel?

Finding your actual subscriber list is simple, though YouTube does put a few privacy limitations on what you can see. Here is the straightforward way to find out exactly who is following your content.

Finding Your Subscriber List on a Computer

To see the specific names of the channels subscribing to you, you have to use a desktop browser.

  1. Log In: Go to YouTube on your computer and make sure you are signed into your Google account.
  2. Open YouTube Studio: Click your profile picture in the top right corner and select YouTube Studio from the drop-down menu.
  3. Locate the Dashboard: You will automatically land on your Channel Dashboard.
  4. Find the 'Recent Subscribers' Card: Scroll down the dashboard page. You will see a dedicated panel labeled "Recent subscribers."
  5. Expand the List: Click See All at the bottom of that card. A pop-up window will appear showing your subscribers. You can use the drop-down menu at the top right to change the date range from the default (last 90 days) to "Lifetime" if you want to see your oldest followers.

Why is my list missing people? If your total subscriber count is 500, but you only see 150 names on this list, it is not a glitch. YouTube only displays users who have chosen to make their personal subscription history public. Anyone who has their privacy settings set to keep their subscriptions hidden will simply not show up on your dashboard.

Checking Your Subscribers on Mobile

Right now, the YouTube mobile app does not let you view the specific names of your subscribers. You can only check your total count.

  1. Open the YouTube app on your Android or iPhone.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the top right corner.
  3. Select Your channel.
  4. Your total subscriber count will be displayed right underneath your channel name.
